Installation

The ELRO FS4610 smoke detector comes standard with all the necessary mounting material. This allows you to easily attach the detector to the desired location. The FS4610 smoke detector is suitable for both ceiling and wall mounting. You can easily activate it by connecting the smoke detector to the included ring. After activation, the battery lasts for 10 years.

We recommend installing at least one smoke detector on every floor of your home. Preferably install smoke detectors in rooms that are part of your escape routes, such as the corridor, hall and landing. In addition, we recommend installing smoke detectors in bedrooms and rooms with electronic equipment. Please note that the actual alarm may be harmful to your hearing when you are nearby, therefore the test volume will be somewhat weaker than the actual alarm sound.

The FC4610 carbon monoxide detector comes standard with all the necessary mounting hardware. With this set, you can easily attach the detector to your wall with screws.

For optimal functioning, place the detector on the wall approximately 1.5 m from the floor. Make sure you stay at least 1.85m away from a combustion device.

Maintenance

For optimal performance of the carbon monoxide detector, it is important to keep it clean. The easiest way is to clean the detector once a month with a vacuum cleaner. Never use detergents to clean the detectors.
