Why Choose an Interconnectable System?
On average, the fire brigade has to respond to 1 in every 1,000 homes in the Netherlands. Each year, around 600 to 700 people are seriously injured in house fires. To protect yourself, good fire safety is essential.
By connecting different systems to each other, you are optimally protected and will be warned of any impending danger. For example, are you vacuuming with a lot of noise or playing music loudly? Then it is important to hear the alarm immediately.
Installing Interconnectable Systems
Each system must, of course, be installed in the most suitable and strategic location. For example, you should install a heat detector in the kitchen or bathroom and place at least one smoke alarm on every floor. A carbon monoxide detector should be installed in a room with a gas appliance, and a water detector should be placed near water-bearing appliances. After installation, these devices can easily be connected wirelessly.
Maintenance of Interconnectable Systems
Maintenance is the same for all the different detectors. Keep the sensors dust-free using a vacuum cleaner or a slightly damp cloth. Do not use chemical products to clean the detectors. Chemical products can damage the sensors, which means the sensors may not work properly and the reliability of your detector may be reduced.
Regularly test the detectors to check whether they are still working and whether the batteries are not empty.
