Installation

The ELRO FS2010 smoke detector comes standard with all the necessary mounting materials. With this set, you can easily attach the detector to your ceiling using screws. Activation is simply done by pressing and holding the test button for a few seconds until the smoke detector gives a signal. After activation, the battery lasts for 10 years.

We recommend placing at least one smoke detector on each floor of your home. Always install a smoke detector on the ceiling. It is best to install smoke detectors along your escape route, such as in the hallway, landing and on stairs.

Maintenance

For the smoke detector to work optimally, it is important to keep it clean. The easiest way is to dust the detector once a month with a vacuum cleaner. Never use cleaning agents on the detectors during cleaning. Additionally, we recommend testing the functions of the smoke detector every month by pressing the test button. Please note! To protect your hearing, the test sound is attenuated. The actual alarm sound is much louder.
