Installation

The FS1110P smoke detector from ELRO comes standard with all the necessary mounting material. With this set, you can easily mount the detector to your ceiling with screws.

In addition, the detector is supplied with a terminal block to connect the phase 0 and the switch wire. When this is done, the detector is ready to use.

We recommend installing at least one smoke detector on every floor of your home. Always place a smoke detector on the ceiling. The best places to install a detector are along your escape route, for example, in the hallway, on the landing and stairs.

Maintenance

For optimal functioning of the smoke detector, it is important to keep it clean. The easiest way is to clean the detector with the vacuum cleaner once a month. Never use cleaning agents on the alarms when cleaning. Furthermore, we recommend that you test the smoke detector's functions every month by pressing the test button.
