Installation

The FS1105P smoke detector by ELRO comes supplied with all the necessary fixing material. With this set you can easily attach the detector with screws to your ceiling.

In addition, the detector is supplied with a connection block to connect the phase 0 and the switching wire. When this has been done, the detector is ready to use.

We recommend placing at least one smoke detector on each floor of your home. Always place a smoke detector on the ceiling. The best places to place a detector are part of your escape route, for instance in the corridor, the landing and stairwells.

Maintenance

To ensure the optimal operation of the smoke detector, it is important to keep it clean. The easiest way is to clean it, is once a month with the vacuum cleaner. Never use detergents when cleaning detectors. Additionally, we recommend you to test the functions of the smoke detector every month by pressing the test button.
