Installation

The FS7810 smoke detectors from ELRO are delivered with all the necessary fixing material. With this set, you can easily attach the detectors with screws to your ceiling.

We recommend placing at least one smoke detector on each floor at your home. Always place a smoke detector against the ceiling. The best places to place a detector are part of your escape route, for instance in the corridor, the landing and stairways.

Maintenance

To ensure the optimal operation of the smoke detector, it is important to keep it clean. The easiest way is to clean it once a month with the vacuum cleaner. Never use detergents when cleaning detectors. Additionally, we recommend you to test the functions of the smoke detector every month by pressing the test button.
