Wireless Connectable Heat detector (FH3801R)

The ELRO Connects FH3801R heat detector is used in places where a normal smoke alarm is not suitable. Think of places where cooking or water fumes often occur, such as the kitchen or bathroom. This detector can be connected wirelessly to other detectors. As soon as heat is detected by 1 heat detector, the other connected detectors will also give a loud alarm. The heat detector responds to extreme temperatures (above 57 degrees Celsius).

This beautifully designed detector by ELRO has a high-quality sensor which measures temperature precisely. If the ambient temperature is too high, the detector sounds a loud alarm of 85dB.

It is not only possible to connect several FH3801R heat detectors together; these detectors can also be connected wirelessly to all other ELRO connectable detectors, such as the FZ5002R Smoke detector, the FC4805R Carbon Monoxide detector and the FW3801R Water detector.

You can also connect this heat detector to the ELRO Connects Smart Home system, so you will be warned by the ELRO Connects App in case of fire. Note, if you link more than 1 heat detector to the ELRO Connect system, all heat detectors will have the same name in the app. The operation of the heat detectors is correct, however you can not see from which heat alarm the alarm is caused.

The ELRO FH3801R complies with the European standard BS5446-2:2003. ELRO also provides a 2-year warranty on this heat detector.

Installation

The FH3801R heat detector by ELRO is supplied with all the necessary fastening material. With this set, you easily attach the detector to your ceiling using screws.

Always place a heat detector against the ceiling. The best places to place a heat detector are places where boiling or water fumes usually occur, such as a kitchen or bathroom.

Maintenance

For optimal operation of the heat detector, it is important to keep it clean. The easiest way to do this is to clean the alarm monthly using a vacuum cleaner. Never use detergents on the detectors when cleaning. We also recommend testing the functions of the smoke detector by pressing the test button every month.
