Wireless Connected Smoke detector - 6 Pack (FZ5002R)

The ELRO FZ5002R connectable smoke detectors ensure that you are warned in time in case of fire. Because the detectors can be connected wirelessly, all smoke detectors give an alarm signal when one detector detects smoke. These detectors include batteries that last for at least 2 years.

These FZ5002R detectors by ELRO have a high quality optical sensor. This sensor responds to fire quickly, gives false alarm less often and is very environmentally friendly. In addition, this detector has an extra heat sensor. This ensures that the detector also reacts at a temperature above 54°. In case of fire, this smoke alarm gives an alarm of no less than 85 decibels.

It is not only possible to link several FZ5002 smoke detectors together; these detectors can also be connected wirelessly to all other ELRO Connects connectable detectors, such as the FC4805R Carbon Monoxide Alarm, the FH3805R Heat Detector and the FW3801R Water Detector.

You can also connect these smoke detectors to the ELRO Connects K1 system, so you will be warned by the ELRO Connects App in case of fire. You will also receive a notification via the app when the battery is empty and you can test the smoke alarm.

The ELRO FZ5002R complies with the European standard EN14604:2005/AC:2008. ELRO gives a 5-year warranty on this smoke detector.

Installation

The FZ500221R smoke detectors by ELRO are supplied with all necessary fixing material. With this set, you easily attach the detector to your ceiling with screws.

We recommend placing at least one smoke detector on each floor of your home. Always place a smoke detector against the ceiling. The best places to place a detector are part of your escape route, for example in the hallway, corridor and stairs.

Maintenance

For optimal operation of the smoke detectors, it is important to keep them clean. The easiest way to do that is to clean the alarm using the vacuum cleaner once a month. Never use detergents on the detectors when cleaning. In addition, we recommend testing the functions of the smoke detector by pressing the test button every month.
