The ELRO FC4902R Carbon Monoxide Alarm ensures you are promptly alerted to the presence of the toxic carbon monoxide gas. Once carbon monoxide is detected, the alarm emits a loud warning sound. Carbon monoxide is odourless and invisible, making it undetectable without an alarm. It can form due to incomplete combustion in appliances like chimneys, boilers, or water heaters.

This ELRO alarm features a high-quality electrochemical sensor that continuously monitors carbon monoxide levels in the air. If dangerous levels are detected, the alarm will emit a powerful 85dB warning. The ELRO FC4902R meets the European standards EN50291-1:2010 and EN50291-1A1:2012.

The FC4902R is not compatible with the K1 Connector and its corresponding app. This model can only be connected to the K2 Connector and the ELRO Connects 2.0 app.

ELRO Connects

This alarm can be wirelessly connected to other ELRO Connects alarms. If one alarm detects carbon monoxide, all connected alarms will sound simultaneously. The FC4902R can interlink not only with other FC4902R carbon monoxide alarms but also with other ELRO Connects alarms such as the FZ5002R Smoke Alarm, FH3801R Heat Alarm, and FW3801R Water Alarm.

Additionally, you can connect this carbon monoxide alarm to the ELRO Connects Smart Home system, enabling notifications via the ELRO Connects App if carbon monoxide gas is detected in your home.

Installation

The ELRO FC4902R Carbon Monoxide Alarm comes with all the necessary mounting materials. Simply use the included screws to attach it to the wall. For optimal performance, install the alarm about 1.5 meters above the floor and ensure it is at least 1.85 meters away from any combustion appliance.

Maintenance

To ensure optimal operation, keep the carbon monoxide alarm clean. Vacuum the device once a month to remove dust, and never use cleaning agents. Test the alarm monthly by pressing the test button to verify functionality.
