The ELRO FZ5010R connectable smoke alarm ensures that you are warned in time in the event of a fire. You can link this detector to other FZ5010R type detectors. When you have linked several detectors together, all smoke detectors give an alarm signal when one detector detects smoke.

This detector has a 10-year lithium battery. This means you are protected for 10 years without having to replace the battery.

Installation

Interlinking the smoke detectors is very easy. You press the large (test) button on one smoke detector 3 times and then the test button on the other smoke detector 3 times. The back of the smoke detector will then light up green to let you know that pairing was successful. All this is also described in detail in the manual.

ELRO's FZ5010R smoke detectors come standard with all the necessary mounting material. With this set, you simply attach the detector to your ceiling with screws.

We recommend installing at least one smoke detector on each floor of your home. Always place a smoke detector against the ceiling. The best places to place a detector are part of your escape route, for instance in the corridor, landing and stairs.

Maintenance

For smoke detectors to work optimally, it is important to keep them clean. The easiest way is to dust the detector once a month with a hoover. Never use detergents on the detectors when cleaning them. In addition, we recommend testing the functions of the smoke detector every month by pressing the test button.
