This beautiful ELRO detector is equipped with a high quality sensor, which constantly measures the concentration of gases in the air. If the concentration is too high, the detector produces a loud alarm of 85 dB. This gas detector is indispensable for gas stoves, gas boilers, gas water heaters, central heating boilers, gas stoves and gas fires.

The ELRO FG4000P complies with the European standard EN50194:2009. ELRO gives a 2-year warranty on this gas detector.

Installation

The FG4000P gas leak detector from ELRO comes supplied with all the necessary fixing material. With this set you can easily attach the detector with screws to your wall.

For optimal performance, place the detector at approximately 30 cm from the ceiling on the wall. Make sure that it is installed at least 1.50m away from a combustion device.

Maintenance

To ensure the optimal operation of the smoke detector, it is important to keep it clean. The easiest way is to clean it, is once a month with the vacuum cleaner. Never use detergents when cleaning detectors. Additionally, we recommend you to test the functions of the smoke detector every month by pressing the test button. Please note, because the actual alarm may be harmful to your hearing when you are standing nearby, the test volume is slightly weaker than the actual alarm sound.
