Wireless Connected Carbon Monoxide Detector (FC4801R)

The ELRO FC4801R carbon monoxide detector ensures that you will be warned on time when the toxic carbon monoxide gas is being formed. This detector can be connected wirelessly to other ELRO Connects detectors. As soon as carbon monoxide has been detected by a single detector, the other connected detectors will also sound a loud alarm. Carbon monoxide gas is odorless and invisible, making it impossible to detect without a detector. Carbon monoxide is caused by incomplete combustion and can occur at a chimney, geyser or central heating boiler.

Not only is is possible to combine several FC4801R carbon monoxide detectors together; these detectors can also be connected wirelessly to all other ELRO connectable detectors, such as the FZ5002R Smoke detector, the FH3801R Heat detector and the FW3801R Water detector.

You can also connect this carbon monoxide detector to the ELRO Connects Smart Home system, so that you will be warned by the ELRO Connects App when it detects carbon monoxide gas in your home. 

This ELRO detector has a high-quality electrochemical sensor which constantly measures the concentration of carbon monoxide in the air. If the concentration is too high, the detector gives a loud alarm of 85dB. The ELRO FC4801R complies with European standard EN50291-1:2010 and EN50291-1A1:2012. ELRO also gives a 5-year warranty on this carbon monoxide detector.

Installation

The FC48011R carbon monoxide detector from ELRO is supplied with all the necessary mounting material. With this set, you can easily attach the detector to your ceiling with the use of screws.

For optimal performance, place the detector approximately 1.5 meters from the floor on the wall. Make sure that you stay at least 1.85 meters away of a combustion device.

You can connect the detector to other detectors by using its big button. This is clearly described in the manual and only takes a few seconds.

Maintenance

For optimum performance of the carbon monoxide detector, it is important to keep it clean. The easiest way to do that is to clean the alarm once a month using the vacuum cleaner. Never use detergents on the detectors when cleaning. In addition, we recommend testing the functions of the carbon monoxide detector every month by pressing the test button.
