ELRO Connects Flash & Vibration Alarm (FR3501R)

The ELRO Connects Flash & Vibration Alarm FR3501R is an extension to the ELRO Connects system that is particularly useful for elderly, disabled, deaf or hearing-impaired people, but is also very useful to test the connectable detectors. In case of alarm, the FR3501R vibrates and gives a bright flashlight to warn you clearly for danger. This alarm can be triggered by the ELRO Connects smoke detectors, heat detectors and CO detectors, but you can also easily push the panic button in order to warn your loved ones through the app.

Connecting to only detectors

To clarify the operation of this product we made a graphic display of different situations.

Situation 1: The LEDs and vibration make it immediately clear that linkable detectors are triggered. For example, you can see that a smoke alarm goes off in the attic.

Situation 2: Another useful function of the ELRO Connects Flash & Vibration Alarm is that there is a button to test whether all your smoke detectors are still functioning correctly. In this way you know for sure that you are fully protected.

Pairing with the ELRO Connects app (K1 Connector)

The ELRO Connects Flash & Vibration Alarm can also be used in combination with the ELRO Connects app. In this case you connect the Flash & Vibration Alarm to the K1 connector. We also refer to the graphic display for explanation.

Situation 3: In this setup, the flash and vibration alarm will vibrate and flash as soon as one of the detectors goes off. In addition, the other linked detectors will sound, the K1 Connector will make a noise and a push notification is being sent to every user of the ELRO Connects app on the linked smartphones and tablets.

Situation 4: Another useful function in this case is that by pressing the button of the Flash & Vibration alarm, there will be a push notification to the users of the ELRO Connects app. Suppose you fall into the bathroom and press the emergency button, the K1 Connector will make a noise and users of the ELRO Connects app will be notified (other detectors will not go off). This function can be useful e.g. for seniors who have difficulty walking or for a permanent attachment in a bathroom / toilet for emergency situations.

Installation

Installing the ELRO Connects Flash & Vibration Alarm is very easy. You press the central button of the alarm 3 times in quick succession. Then 3x quickly on a detector you want to connect. Then the detector is linked to the alarm.
